ABOUT
Exhibit Resource Skyline’s story is one of modest beginnings. It began in 1992 with one woman, current President Carol Van Vreede, working from her home as a sales representative for Skyline. As a woman with drive, personality, and a passion for success, it is not surprising that in just a few short years she was able to move her then two person operation into a 3,750 square foot building at 780 Bayland Court in Green Bay. From here, Van Vreede continued to have success, eventually purchasing the northeast Wisconsin territory from the Skyline dealer in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Armed with her own Skyline dealership, the possibilities for Van Vreede seemed endless. She continued to add members to her team (without ever placing a help wanted ad), helping more businesses in Northeast Wisconsin achieve their trade show goals.
Van Vreede’s long term goal was to be a single source provider for premier exhibits and graphics and in 2007, the opportunity to take a step closer to that goal presented itself. Van Vreede opened a wide format print facility, expanding the product offerings from just exhibits, to kiosks, vehicle wraps, custom wallpaper, posters, banners, stickers, floor graphics, and just about any other printed media.
In 2008, with over 20 people on staff, the building on Bayland Court was bursting at the seams. It was time to move. Van Vreede built a 40,000 square foot facility on Packerland Drive in De Pere. The new, state-of-the-art facility houses all of Exhibit Resource’s divisions, including Skyline Exhibits, Trade Show Management, and Wide Format Print. She also added yet another division to the business, Floor U, a floor covering store. Floor U specializes in trade show floor coverings, as well as residential and commercial coverings.
Van Vreede attributes her accomplishments to surrounding herself with good people, treating others as she would like to be treated, and never passing up a great opportunity. Although the business has grown from one woman to a full scale operation, Exhibit Resource Skyline has not lost the focus on its clients or its values. As the business continues to grow, with no end in sight, it reminds Van Vreede of the motto she lives by: The Sky’s the Limit.
